Q: What is Exclusive Rentals all about?
A: Exclusive Rentals is a London based company, specializing in the London rental market.  We provide the most advanced search feature developed specifically for London properties in an effort for tenants and owners/managers to have the most beneficial and rewarding experience using this site.

TENANTS

Q: Is there a cost to be a member?
A: There is NO COST to register as a Member. You can also use the site as often as you like FREE of charge.

Q: What are the benefits of registering?
A: As a registered user you will be able to save your searches in your account.  You will also be able to have any new listings sent directly to your email inbox for your selected criteria, so you will be the first to know when a property comes available.

Q: What is a guarantor?
A: A guarantor is someone who will go on your lease with you and will guarantee to pay the rent if you do not. Generally a guarantor is needed if the applicants earnings are not high enough to meet landlord standards, or if credit has been a problem in the past.

Q: Is there a fee for your services?
A: No.  The landlord pays our fee, our service is FREE for tenants.  We also have FREE pick-up & drop-off to your residence.

LANDLORDS

Q: I need someone to help me find new tenants for my apartment/house. Can you help?
A: Yes, we provide a full rental service package that includes ALL showings, deposit collection, guarantor signing, lease signing.

Q: What are the fees for renting out my unit?
A: 75% of one month's rent. If you have multiple units please call for a custom quote.

Q: What are the fees for managing my property?
A: We charge 4-5% of the monthly rent to handle the day to day repairs/services required for your property. We also provide a tailored quote for multiple properties and newer units

Q: Who pays for advertising and marketing costs?
A: Exclusive Rentals covers all advertising costs. We offer one of the most advanced website's designed specifically for London, Ontario. We also advertise in the UWO Gazette and place a Rental sign on your rental property. We also have large scale advertising campaigns throughout the year to drive traffic to our site and your property. We place ads on the off-campus housing websites for both UWO and Fanshawe College.

Q: Are there any other "hidden" fees?
A: No. We get paid when your unit is rented. Our fee is paid through the collection of first or last month's rent.
