Exclusive Rentals’ mission statement is to service our customers by creating and delivering a unique and valuable service and experience, recognizing the needs of the owners we represent and the tenants that we serve. We pride ourselves in helping our renters make their experience a positive and exciting step towards independence; guiding them through finding the location which best meets their needs’ and rental goals, regardless of what milestone they have reached in their lives. To our Owners we deliver property management and rental services by applying the highest level of expertise in our unique industry through professionalism, transparency and integrity.
Britta immigrated to Canada from Germany in 2004 with just a suitcase in her hand and left everything behind. In the beginning she worked for another student rental company and in 2005 she created Exclusive Rentals with help from Jason and initially worked out of their home, drove students around and signed leases out of her minivan. She was always very passionate about having her own business and her hard work ethic started to pay off when owners began approaching her. She has always run the business under our company slogan: “Renting & managing properties as if they were our own”. Her positive outlook, energy and personal touch with each client, tenant and all her employees, make her unique and a pleasure to be around.
Jason brings over 14 years of specialized experience through personal ownership of multiple investment properties and as a Realtor, assisting his clients in the purchase of income producing properties. He continually keeps his clients informed on the student market with regards to capital improvements that yield the highest return, to rental license applications, fire code compliance and negotiating municipal bylaw & zoning requirements. If you have a question regarding investment properties, Jason probably has the answer. He always looks for a more efficient ways to run the company and has implemented many new procedures/technology upgrades to ensure the business continually runs smoothly and adjusts with the ever-changing market.
Jaime started her career at Exclusive Rentals in 2010 and is now the general manager of Exclusive. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from the University of Guelph and has 10 years of experience in Property Management, specializing in off-campus housing for students. Jaime is passionate about what she does and truly goes the extra mile for her tenants, clients and staff. She is an exceptional person, great leader for her team and the heart of Exclusive Rentals.
Rebecca is one of Exclusive’s veteran staff. She came onboard in November 2013 has been an integral part of the company as our Office & Projects Manager ever since. She has a strong administrative background and has been working in this field for years. Her patience with our clients and tenants is remarkable, as is her positive attitude. Rebecca is Exclusive’s recipe for success – she works with passion and persistence and always keeps the ball rolling. We are so lucky to have Becky be part of our Exclusive Rentals family!
Senior Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Liz joined Exclusive Rentals in 2016 as a graduate of the Payroll and Bookkeeping program at Fanshawe College. Since starting with the company, her hard work has brought about a lot of growth and advancement in the accounting department (as well as plants everywhere) and she is now head of the department. She is a very dedicated employee and is always trying to improve internal procedures to provide better service to our clientele.
Priscilla was hired as a Front Office Administrator and quickly moved over to support the maintenance team. Priscilla has over 9 years of banking/customer service experience and is also quite familiar with property management as she owns several of her own rental properties. She is now managing the Luxury office where she looks after the entire portfolio for our clients, with support from Kiersten. Priscilla is exceptionally professional, and we couldn’t be happier to have her representing our company.
Admin/Accounts Receivable Clerk
Wendy joined the company as an Administrator. Her background is quite diverse, ranging from a Tool & Cutter Grinder to a Hair Stylist/Barber and most recently a graduate of the Accounting program at Fanshawe College. She has a lot to offer, be it an infectious smile or delicious baked goods, and is truly appreciated in our office. We are very excited to have Wendy as a part of the Exclusive Rental team and can’t wait to watch her grow with us.
Jennifer was hired as an Office Administrator but quickly moved into our leasing position, as it takes a special person to organize this portfolio for all clients. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience providing exceptional customer service. She has amazing negotiation skills and her dedication to her position is outstanding. She is assisting in managing a small team and does so with ease and enthusiasm. We are thrilled for Jennifer to be part of our team.
Front Office Administrator
Trish is our Front Office superstar and manages all the incoming calls, any email and guides all our new tenants through the process of renting. Trish is the first initial contact you may have with our company and she will make your experience delightful. She has 15 + years of customer service experience and her administration skills are beyond outstanding. She always has a positive attitude and is dedicated to her job. She is an amazing asset to our company. She has a super cute and busy son which keeps her on her toes.
Kaitlyn joined our staff in 2017. She was hired as an Office and Accounting Administrator and was quickly promoted to Junior Bookkeeper. Kaitlyn brings over 8 years experience in customer service to her position within our company. She is an exceptional employee and has since grown into a larger accounting role primarily handling property maintenance. Kait is always willing to take on new challenges and is an important member of the Exclusive Rentals team (especially to Liz).
Melissa joined our staff as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and Office Administrator. She graduated from Fanshawe College with a Business Management diploma specializing in bookkeeping and payroll and has previous experience in the property management industry as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Melissa’s excellent communication and problem resolution skills have proven her to be a huge asset when interacting with our tenants and collecting rent/other accounts receivable. She has a bubbly personality and we just love working with her.
Kiersten comes from a background in Management and Customer Service. She is an active individual and a great asset for our company. On weekends you can find her hiking with her dog, playing volleyball and spending time with family and friends.
Rental Agent/Team Leader
Ryan joined our team in 2015 and is our #1 Sales Agent. He has tremendous skill working with people and building relationships, if you can understand his accent! He is always fighting hard for a rental but working twice as hard to earn respect from his clients and get referrals, which provide over 25% of his business. Everyone who has toured with him has only had wonderful things to say about him. Ryan’s previous work was in the solar industry, but he also worked in apartment rentals, both in London and Waterloo. His sales experience is very extensive, and his work ethic is one that is hard to find. We are thrilled to have Ryan on our team!
Hunter started with Exclusive Rentals as a co-op student in the administration department. He is currently completing his education in Human Resources. Hunter’s hard work, effervescent personality and dedication to learning the ins and outs of our company has led to a permanent role as a rental agent. Hunter has great customer service skills and really understands the needs of our student tenants (being one himself), which make him a huge asset as a rental agent. We foresee a lot of success in Hunter’s future and are eager to see how his first season as an agent progresses.
